Hi Vic,

I have to ask if you're the Vic I know from years ago. If so how is the desert treating you.

You got it cow-shark man!  I sent you an E-mail, to the hotmail address about marginatas and other tortoise related topics.  Looking forward to catching up with you and all the good folks on this forum.  It has really grown (as have the feisty little horsefieldi I got from you) the last few years, Joe must be jumping.  Best regards, Vic H., Imperial Valley, 3 miles North of the Mexico/U.S. border. ;)   P.S.  Down here, incubators are almost not needed, keeping eggs and animals cool enough is the big challenge.   I have created artificial burrows and they seem to work well.

I think it's cool to see two guys find each other again! Nothing like old friends

I would go with the Hovabator... I had to "make" an incubator yesterday for these two little eggs we were wonderfully surprised with. However, I spent most of yesterday trying to keep the temp stable which was a LOT of work. I would rather have something that would take some of the guess work out of it. Our Hovabator will be delivered today and boy will I be glad!
