Hi
Mating doesn't always mean eggs. She may wat a year or more befor laying them. Or it can be as quickas 6 weeks.

I keep mine together all the time.

I have 19 females and 11 males in my main colony

My youngest "hatchling" is 4 months old. I have some others that are 2 years, 4 years, 5 years a nd 11 years old. I have hatched over 200 eggs

My adults hibernate outside. The young ones come in for the winter

wow!

You have really big colony!

A have one male and one female...male is for her strange, sa they are separated. They don't hibarnate in winter. but when they are together, they sometimes make a love. ;)

So, when I can connect them again? On spring?

Yes, but you have big colony, a lot of females. I have one male, one female, and you should know, how male is "talking" with female. He all time think about love...and female sometimes can't go away, so, tehy aren't together all the time.
