Nice torts, do you give them additional food other than what they get in your garden?  Portugal is a wonderful place.  I enjoyed my visit very much.

Welcome to the forum. Great pics!
Do your torts stay outside all year? It looks like you have given them a great place to live.

Hi,

No they don't, i keep them indoors for  3-4 winter months. Now I'm getting out temps of 71 day and 55 at night, so they are out since 2 weeks ago, and probably until mid October, when the rain and cold starts here.

Indoors they are in a tort table 47" x 29" with a tubular 8.0 UVB and a 100 W spot.

Later i'll take some some photos of the "hotel"

This is a part of the outdoor pen, with my dog Gaspar (Casper in english) posing lol, he's a English BT

They have all time access to the grass part thu the fence, it as an opening.

They make miles in this bermuda grass area, specialy when it's sunny they spend all day goin forth and back.

BigFire, yes i give them more greens i grow on the other side of the garden, mostly mustard and turnip greens, cabbage, sometimes aloe vera and some other weeds that grows there (mallow, dandelions, trefoil, etc)

I'm also planting more varietys of edible plants on the pen, but the dandelions don't last much. They don't stop until it disappears in the ground  ???

I like it, thats a nice big area. My breeders have access to the whole back lawn & the side of the house also.
Mine have to be closed in at night, because of raccoons.

What a lovely yard, I'm jealous! In new york city, space like that just isn't available for my tortoise unfortunately.
You've got some lucky animals :-)

Hello and welcome.  I'm so jealous of your torts living in such a beautiful place.  ;)
Tilly and Tess live with their mom in sunny Southern Oregon.  Hatched by Dan during the summer of 2008.
