They have all time access to the grass part thu the fence, it as an opening.
They make miles in this bermuda grass area, specialy when it's sunny they spend all day goin forth and back.
Nice torts, do you give them additional food other than what they get in your garden? Portugal is a wonderful place. I enjoyed my visit very much.
BigFire, yes i give them more greens i grow on the other side of the garden, mostly mustard and turnip greens, cabbage, sometimes aloe vera and some other weeds that grows there (mallow, dandelions, trefoil, etc)
I'm also planting more varietys of edible plants on the pen, but the dandelions don't last much. They don't stop until it disappears in the ground
