hello!
i have had an account here for a bit but have just been lurking and researching. iam getting my tort tonight. a friend rescued 2 RT's from a girl who had no business having them. it is a male and female so obviously the living situation isn't the happiest for them. so im taking the male! his name is bruiser. i have a 50 gal Rubbermaid all set up and waiting for him. been set up for 2 days and the temps and humidity are holding just right...once i get him home tonight i will be sure to take pictures!

Welcome! It's good to know that you are rescuing a RT and giving him a good home.

Welcome!
I just adopted my first male Russian too- Godzilla.
This site has been a wealth of information for me... I'm glad you've taken the time to get things set up before the tort arrives, it makes the transition a bit smoother hopefully.
