Can bird egg incubators be adapted to be suitable for tortoise egg incubation? Any info is greatly appreciated

Most of the ones with electronic thermostats won't go low enough in temp, for reptiles.
If you get one with wafer thermostats it will work. In the small units you don't need the fan, It is necessary in the large cabinet drawer types though.
