Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to introduce myself.  My name is Zandra and I am a new member to the Turtle and Tortoise Forum.   :D  I am the proud owner of a three year old female Russian Tortoise named Toby.  I look forward to talking with you all!   ;D

Thank you all for the responses, you made Toby blush!  haha  Can I just say that I am absolutely loving this forum so far.  Everyone has some good-looking tortoises!  They all look like they have such personality!   :D

hi, welcome to the forum.  Toby is very cute. I would just be careful with the butternut squash.  I dont think it is one of the best things to feed them (and it's not on the list)

Welcome! Your tort is so pretty. I have never seen one with coloration like that. 'Blondie' fits.

Zandra, Blondie is the perfect name for that little stunner. A beauty mark on her beak and a white dress blowin' in the wind she could be called "Marilyn".   ;D

Thanks Barb (I chuckled out loud at that one  :D)

Moe- No worries about the squash... that picture was taken when I first got her (over a year ago) but it is one of my favorites!  I will tell you though, her diet has improved since that first week.  I have her on the proper regimine now so have no fear!   :)

Butter nut squash is good for keeping worms at bay but should not be feed too oftain.
