My Gal Mint laid her eggs today - Yahoo!!!!

Well,

We did not succeed this time. I noticed no one ever writes again on threads to say they had no luck, but I wanted to eventually report such.

Eventually, all 3 either cracked, or seeped moisture out throught what would seem like "pin holes" that developed, and so they began to lose the moisture inside....this caused mold to start in the containers.

I'm also wondering if, since this happened to all 3 (well, 1 cracked, 1 leaked thru like pinholes, 1 just emptied out but it was mostly empty of liquid) all 3 leaked out withing 90 days, does this indicate maybe something done wrong with temperature or humidity?

Seems when things crack in life, its often because of temp / humidity changes

What do you all think? Think I had humidty problem?
I sure dont want any cracking next time

Oh I'm sorry, how dissapoonting for you. Sorry can't help with your questions as I've only hatched out on lot of eggs; I hope you have much better luck next time.

Thanks for the update.
 90 days is on the long end of the range. Most of mine run about 65 days @ 89F. 70-80% humidity.
I've heard of them hatching after 90 days, but never seen it.

Well, we shall try again, I changed the bulbs a few weeks back, and my male it humping her all the time (now if he can find the right end!).  So, hope to have a few more clutches this year.

I'm just thinking maybe I need higher humidity, maybe low humidity is to blame for the eggs "drying out"

Mine hatch in 8-12 weeks. Usually around 9 weeks at 88-89°F.
