Feeding routine
« on: November 15, 2006, 01:28:20 AM »
I`ve just read somewhere that not feeding for one day a week balances the PH levels for your tort. Does anyone know if this is true?

or something  ;D

Fasting one day doesn't change gut pH.

Improper diet and long term fasting can though

Is it good to feed your RT everyday? Or should you space it out so they dont get tummy aches?

I feed my young ones daily and the adults every other day. When they are outside they graze daily

Joe, when they have plants available to graze, do you still do the 20 min eating rule? Libby eats for her 20 mins., I take the food away and she goes off to graze.
