I went outside last night to cover my torts as a storm was coming,,,and I discovered 2 eggs. One almost totally covered and one out of the dirt quite a bit. It was starting to rain and thunder so I just covered them with dirt and a tarp and ran inside. I have no idea when they were laid. It was cold all night so iIleft them covered...is it worth trying to dig them up and do the steps to see if they hatch or has this colder weather done damage and should I just forget it? I was shocked. I saw the male doing his mating stuff after they came out of hibernation, but didn't know she was going to lay eggs!

Hope to hear from you as I feel like a nervous grandma! Linda@kralspaces.com
