Well then, what is the purpose of the UVA only bulbs?  It can't be just for extra heat, can it?
From what Ive heard there are some reptiles that prefer these uva light..I dont know how true that info is though cause I got it from a petstore...lol..

I got mine at PetCo.  It was about $35 and you need a clamp like for a bulb so all together it was only about $50.  I really like it and I've noticed more activity in Frank since I put it in.  Having an open topped table makes is great for air circulation but it makes it difficult to get it quite as warm as he likes.  I think you'll like it.
