My tort keeps trying to bite my new tort

Baxter is actually quite a bit bigger, the pic is deceiving because he's behind the hide. And Bruno won't fight back, not once has he tried to bite. I'll check the links, thanks. I need to take a closeup shot of Brunos behind and post it, maybe we'll sort out if he's a she or not. Oh, I tried the full tummy method and it didn't help, but at least I tried.

Well you can only do your best, i think just keeping your eye on them is all you can do. Can you put up pics of their underside we might be able to give an idea of their sex. Is it just Bruno youre a bit unsure about, has Baxter been verified as a male?

Yes, Baxter is definitely male and was verified as that. Just Bruno I'm not sure about, he's 4" and now I'm thinking female but I keep going back and forth,lol. I'll try to get a pic today.

Here's the pic of Baxter when he was given to me last March. He has a huge tail. I tried getting Bruno's pic, he's very squirmy, he didn't like being upside down one bit, I don't blame him .

Yeah i agree with you Baxters a boy alright!! Did you manage to get any pics of Bruno yet, would be interesting to see,

I tried yesterday, but the flash just kept reflecting off of his shell (I guess because I was taking a closeup shot) and it was too cold to take him outside for a pic. I'll see if it's not too cold to take him outside this afternoon.
